They came too late...

The pictures that is. I took these at the beginning of the summer, which is now long over. I was frustrated because it was supposed to be summer, but it just wouldn't stop raining. It was supposed to be kind of ironic...summer, but I can't do anything summery... So instead, it's going to feel like someone is explaining a joke to you, aka ruining that joke for you. Haha! Oh well.
So, on the left is the laundry, right after I got them out of the dryer and excitedly hung them up to use my clothes line for the first time! On the right, you will see them after one week of being on the clothes line ... and still too wet to take down. (my dryer was not working at the time, so I just had to wait)Ha! Good Times

  1. We left laundry on our clothesline through the rain a time or two when we lived in our previous place...figured if it was already raining there wasn't much point in taking it down. Then a guy tried to climb over our fence with a crowbar. I guess he thought we were gone if we had stuff on the clothesline in the rain. Then we decided to move...somewhere that guys wouldn't climb over our fence with a crowbar.

Sorry we're moving someplace with winter. It would probably be nice to leave winter to come out and visit...sigh. We miss you!

  2. whoa, polly that is scary!

Lol. i remember using a clothes line. it was also scary for me because bees and spiders would get into them if you left them out there too long.

  3. I love the smell of clothes that have been dried on a line. Don't give up on it, Liz!
